Property Fit
A Broken Bow cabin actually on a creek.
Not "near" a creek. Not "walking distance to" a creek. On it — 4.5 private acres with creek frontage, audible from the primary bedroom.
What "creekside" actually means at Creekside Ranch
A lot of Broken Bow cabin listings claim "creekside" when they mean "the driveway ends near a creek shared with 8 neighbors." Creekside Ranch is different: the cabin sits on 4.5 private acres with its own stretch of year-round creek frontage. You hear it from the primary bedroom. You can walk to it from the hot tub porch. It's yours for the week.
The creek itself
- Runs year-round (never dry, even in late summer)
- Audible from the primary bedroom with the window open
- Walking distance from the cabin porch — no driving, no hiking
- Shallow and rocky in most places — kids can wade safely
- Deeper pools in a few spots for actual cold plunges
- Private — not shared with another cabin
Why the 4.5 acres matters
Most Broken Bow cabins sit on 1/2-acre or smaller lots. That means your neighbor's fire pit is 30 feet from yours, their headlights hit your porch when they pull in at 10pm, and you're sharing creek access with 3 other cabins. 4.5 acres solves that. You can walk the property in the morning with coffee and not see another person.
Sitting on the porch
The hot tub is on the west-facing creek-side porch. Sunset hits the water through the trees; you hear the creek the whole time. One couple on a repeat booking told Chris that the porch at 6pm was the reason they came back. Specific enough to be believable — it really is that good.
